TriCultural Christian School or TCS seeks to teach and prepare third culture kids for high school and college, allowing parents to focus on their ministries.
The school teaches K-8th grade students in a one room schoolhouse environment. Teacher Heidi Geiger has a Masters Degree in education and with the help of qualified parent volunteers, strives to maintain a professional yet fun learning environment for all the kids. The curriculum is a combination of Bob Jones and Saxon Math.
In July 2006 the number of students will be increasing from 6 to between 9 and 15. Because of this the school is currently searching for one more teacher to join the team with a minimum committment of 6-months.
The TriCultural Christian School is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul
on Av. Panamericana, #877 in Jardim Lindoia, Porto Alegre.
The school will recomence classes near the end of the Brazilian winter on July 31st. School hours are 9 a .m. – 12:15 p.m. , Monday through Friday.
